From what I have been told, coming out of the closet can be a really emotional and difficult time for a person. And while not making light of it, I just wanted to showcase the different ways a coming out story was told through my favorite story lines. It is a bit different from my normal videos but I felt that each story needed to be told (or remembered) again. Enjoy the show and thanks for watching. I look forward to your comments.

Stories in order:
1. Geoff & Pavel (RAW)
2. Christian & Olli (Verbotene Liebe)
3. Freddy & Jay (After Sex-movie)
4. Craig & JP (Hollyoaks)
5. Noah & Luke (ATWT)

Coming Out Story: I’m a lot happier now!

This coming out story was from Ironicly from Tumblr:

I’m a lot happier now!

Hi, I'm a 19 year old girl from Sweden and this is my coming out story.
I was about to tell my best friend that I'm a lesbian at one point one and a half year ago maybe. I sat down and were on my way to tell her. Then my friend sad that she wanted to guess what it was, I told her she could, maybe it was right.
It wasn’t. She asked me if I liked her ex….. Which was kind of the opposite what i was trying to tell her. After that I just freaked out a bit and didn’t tell her. Took me a few months to say it, but now she knows and we laugh a lot about it now!! It’s just funny!
So right now I’ve been out for almost a year to my closest friends, half a year to my parents.
It was a surprise to almost all of my friends that I told except my twin sister, she kind of new. They all took it well actually. Non of them have looked at me any different! Most of them think it’s fun actually, I’m the only gay person they know. Which kind of sucks for me, because yeah well, I don’t know any homosexuals except me…..  haha
I told my mum and I hope she have told my dad, because I’m not seeing my self talking to him about it in a while. My mum she took it kind of well, a bit chocked of course, but she told me to be my self and that she loves me.
But she haven’t said a word about it since. So I’m working on that. Hope she will be able to talk to me soon. I’d like to talk to her about things you know.
So over all people took it well and I’m so happy I came out. I was a wreck in the closet.
:)

Should I Come Out To My Best Friend?

This is an easy answer. The answer is YES! Go ahead and come out to your best friend when you think you are ready! If your best friend accepts you, they will be your support for a long time if the friendship lasts. If your best friend can't accept your sexuality, then it's their lost! You don't want to be friends with people who do not accept you for being yourself. Find better friends who will accept you.

Most people I know come out to their friends first, before coming out to their parents. The reason is because coming out to friends has no financial consequences. Coming out to your parents is a lot of harder because they may kick you out of the house (this is a rare example but it does happen in the worst case scenario.) But coming out to friends has only one consequence - which is - if they don't accept you, you just stop being friends with them and move on. Maybe you will suffer emotionally but this is life.

Should I Come Out of The Closet to My Parents?

This is a question that a lot of young gay teens ask online. They are confused and are frightened whether they should come out of the closet. Revealing your sexuality to your parents is one of the hardest things to do as a gay teenager. You will acceptance and love but you know that by coming out, there's a chance that your parents will look at you differently. But here is my opinion on whether you should come out to your parents.

IT REALLY DEPENDS ON YOUR AGE.

If you are under 18 years old, you really should consider coming out to your parents ONLY when you are sure that they accept you. Before you take the next step of talking to them and being honest to them, you should find out what they personally think of gay people. If they are liberal and open minded, you should definitely tell them that you are gay because most liberal parents in the United States have accepted their son or daughter being gay. BUT -  if your parents are very religious and conservative, DO NOT come out to them! The reason is because there's a chance they will look at you in a different light. There's also the chance of them kicking you out of the house. (This is rare but it does happen to gay teens in the United States and the rest of the world.)
